Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Dominic ("the bot", "we", "us"), a Discord moderation bot. By inviting the bot to a Discord server or using its commands, you agree to these Terms.

1.The Service

Dominic is a Discord moderation bot that provides moderation tools, automatic message rules, logging and a setup menu — all inside Discord. The service runs through Discord's API and operates only in servers the bot has been invited to.

2.Your Responsibilities

You confirm that (a) you have the authority to manage a server when taking administrative actions such as inviting the bot or running /setup; (b) you will use the bot in line with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines; and (c) you are responsible for how the bot is configured and used in your server, including the rules and roles you choose.

3.Availability

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee an uninterrupted service. Features may change, be paused or be discontinued. Command registration is subject to Discord's daily limits, so updates are deployed carefully. Weekly backups are taken; if data loss occurs we will attempt restoration from the latest backup, but full recovery cannot be promised.

4.Acceptable Use

You may not use the bot to harass, dox or unlawfully target people, to violate Discord's policies, or to break applicable law. Automatic rules are a moderation aid, not a guarantee — final responsibility for moderation decisions stays with the server's staff.

5.No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise the bot will be error-free, secure or uninterrupted.

6.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of data, or losses arising from moderation actions the bot takes (or does not take) according to your configuration. Total liability is capped at the amount you paid for the service — zero, since the bot is free.

7.Data

The bot processes a limited set of server and moderation data as described in the Privacy Policy. Continuing to use the bot means you consent to that processing.

8.Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced through the bot's support channels. If you keep using the bot after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

9.Termination

You can stop using the service at any time by removing the bot from your server. We may suspend or stop the service for any server that abuses the bot or breaks these Terms.
